Intercompany tax in Expense Management for non-US regions

In Expense Management module for Australia legal entity, intercompany GST is not posted to the correct legal entity. The issue happens when the expense is directly charged to the destination legal entity, without project linked to the record.
- The expected results: when General ledger parameter Legal entity for intercompany tax posting is set to Source (Destination option is for the US tax as shown in the description), the GST portion in subledger journal and voucher transaction should be posted to Source legal entity. Also, the Posted GST in Tax module should be recorded in Source company as well.
- The current posting pattern is incorrect: GST portion in subledger journal and voucher transaction is posted to Destination legal entity, however, the Posted GST in Tax module is recorded in Source legal entity.
Fixing the intercompany tax will make this module stand out from competitors and enhance its competitive advantages. I would appreciate it if this could be put on the roadmap.

Post project invoice proposal form brings Open and Approved transactions for posting, despite project invoice proposals workflow is enabled

Customer is using form called “Post project invoice proposals” (Project management and accounting > Periodic > Project Invoices > Post project invoice proposals) to post the ‘Approved’ Invoice proposal created.
Here customer is getting invoice proposals with the status of ‘Approved’ as well as status Open’ and Open status are being considered for posting. Instead of only Approved Invoice proposals and sent to the clients.
The system is just not only showing Open project invoice proposals in the form, but it posts them without passing through the workflow approval process.
Customer is having misplaced information on posting of Invoice proposal. It's allowed to post project invoice proposals without being approved.
The expected behavior is that only the invoice proposals that are set as ‘Approved’ should only be considered for posting, when there's workflow is enabled strictly.

Include All Timesheet statuses in Missing Timesheet report

The current guideline for the Missing timesheet report is that l statuses "Draft", "Not Created" and "Returned" are included in the report, but not "In review". Timesheets that are "In review" are not supposed to be included in the report. However, we have found that some timesheets with a status of "In review" make it onto the Missing timesheets report while others do not. We have found value in seeing these timesheets that are "In review" included in this report and suggest that all timesheet statuses that are not "Approved" be included in the report going forward.

Post revenue recognition batch job should skip the errors and post the validated revenue lines

The post-revenue recognition batch job currently takes over an hour to post revenue in GL. However, if validation isn't completed, the job fails, causing delays in month-end closing procedures. The request is to modify the batch job so that it completes without errors and instead moves any errors to a new journal for user analysis and adjustment.

D365 Expense Management Mobile App should support pdf as receipts too

Currently only images are allowed to be attached as receipts in the D365 Expense Management Mobile App. PDFs should also be allowed, and OCR should also work on it.

Consistency checking between receipt and expense

As we now have the possibility to use OCR with the new Expense App and Workspace, it would be very useful to put in place consistency checking between the receipt and the expense. Indeed, when credit card transactions are integrated, the employee just has to attach a receipt but the system doesn't try to do first checks. The controlling team must then open up the receipt to ensure that it corresponds to the expense.
OCR is able to extract data from the receipt and AI should be able to compare amount, merchant, credit card... Only credit card transactions with a certain level of confidence would be submitted to workflow.

When creating a project invoice by selecting multiple project sales orders, the sales tax calculation is not compatible with the Japanese invoice system.

The Japanese invoice system does not allow for sales tax to be calculated on a sales order basis. Sales tax is required to be calculated per invoice.
When creating a project invoice, it is possible to select multiple sales orders and combine them into one invoice.
In this case, since multiple sales orders are combined into one invoice, sales tax must also be calculated for each invoice.
However, D365 does not support this calculation and is not compatible with the system, and should be modified.

Schedule Board Contouring

Up until recently (in PSA and Project Operations), the Schedule Board would allow for resource bookings to be contoured to 0hrs/0mins. This functionality made it so if a resource calls out sick for a week, their booking to a project could be reduced to 0, and the Project Manager had visibility into any gaps in the schedule for a given project.
In a recent update, this functionality was removed, and our organization is unable to contour bookings based on PTO, Family Emergencies, and other instances where our resources will be out of office. The ability to accurately schedule team members on projects and the ability to update bookings based on real-time updates, such as sick days, is a mandatory requirement for our organization and for the system.
We would love to get this functionality back, as we are now spending time developing a work around for an existing functionality that was removed.

Ability to add new columns to Task grid similar to the feature available on standalone Project for web solution.

As of today there is no easy way to add a new column to task grid and have it sync to a task table. This is an absolute must of major/complex projects. As of today there is no easy way maintain any additional metadata related to tasks in an easy manner

Personalized Project stage field on Project form (Project management and Accounting module, form: Projects)

We would like to see the value which comes from Project management and accounting module - Setup - Project management and accounting parameters - Project stage - Project stage column instead of the value in Stage column when we personalize the form and add again the Project stage field.
