Power Platform Support Case Closing

Allow Admins who open support cases to close the case once completed. Currently, the only way to close cases is to respond to support emails. This works too, but if you have multiple support cases it is much easier to open, manage, and close cases all from the power platform Help+Support page as opposed to replying to emails.

Power pages show audit user in the audit log

When users update through Power Pages in the audit log is shows "SYSTEM" as the user vs. the actual user-id. For Healthcare applications is essential to be able to see who CRUD the data.

Look and feel of Business Process Flow

A customer told us that it was a bit confused to know when a record is inactive by looking the business process flow, because if it has been aborted the background is grey and it is clear the process status but when it is finalized the look and feel is pretty similar to what it is displayed for active records.
So a good improvement for us should be to make a design change that allow to know clearly when a BPF is inactive by using a more user-friendly look and feel

Partitioning of Dataverse Tables

For performance reasons it would be great to define partitions for dataverse tables, the same as for SQL Server Tables. For huge amount of data it would be very useful. That way I could store my data for all years and all parameters in one table instead of creating multiple tables per parameter.

Using Azure Active Directory for SSO with Dynamics 365 On-Premise

We have a customer and they want to configure Azure SSO for Dynamics 365 On-Premise. Currently our Dynamics 365 On-Premise is authenticated with ADFS and has Dynamics 365 mobile/Outlook applications. We need to federate this with Azure without dependency on ADFS.
Symptom:
To migrating ADFS to Azure active directory for running Dynamics 365 application.
Resolution:
Researched on the ask and found migrating ADFS to Azure active directory for running Dynamics 365 application is not yet supported.
SSO on Dynamics 365 on premise needs ADFS to work. Unfortunately, SSO with Azure AD without ADFS is not supported at the moment. Currently it is only supported to sync on premise AD with Azure AD but the authentication must go through ADFS.
I checked the documentation you shared and as you mentioned they are not recommending for this configuration, also it may not work with Mobile applications. As this has been not tested by our engineering team, we would not recommend this for Dynamics 365 On-premises.
If you want to migrate ADFS to Azure active directory then you can refer to the documents below, but if this is solely for running Dynamics CRM application then this is not yet supported for running Dynamics CRM application as it is not yet tested by our backend team.
Customer has the following questions and would like to set up a call to discuss these and some other questions too. Let me know your availability so that we can set up a call accordingly to get a better understanding.
· Is it possible to set up Azure SSO for Dynamics 365 on Prem without dependency on ADFS?
· Will this still support Dynamics 365 mobile/Outlook applications?
· Found this article https://blog.thenetw.org/2018/04/03/using-azure-active-directory-for-sso-with-dynamics-365-on-premise/ [nam06.safelinks.protection.outlook.com] that has the explanation of Azure SSO setup for Dynamics 365 on Prem without ADFS dependency but they are not recommending it for production environment and looks like it doesn’t support Dynamics 365 mobile/Outlook applications – wanted more clarity/details on this.

Add security role to Power Platform Admin Analytics to view reports

At this moment only admin roles can view the Analytics Reports in Power Platform Admin Center. Please add an extra role like the Security Reader role so the have view rights for those dashboards. I want to show them on a daily basis on a big screen but don't want to login with an admin account. For the Security Center it is possible to view dashboards with this role, hopefully you can make it also possible in the Power Platform Admin Center.

- Cancel status is placed in the end and connected with RESOLVED status in dot.
- If case is cancelled at IN PROGRESS stage, then the BPF would directly move to Cancelled status

SIEM Reporting - Export to Excel / Data Import

Within the audit reporting for DataVerse transactions. The export to excel AND data imports should be audited just like any other CRUD based function.
Without these reports, we can not report for internal SIEM reporting what users are doing that could have a massive impact on the System / Business health.
