Power Platform Governance and Administration

We are a large multinational financial organization and use DEVO as our global solution for audit log storage to meet our compliance obligations.

All production systems globally are obliged to send audit logs to DEVO. This includes Power Platform and Dynamics audit log (system and sometimes entity). As Power Platform audit logs are automatically collected in the M365 Security and Compliance center (production environments only), ingesting logs to DEVO is easy and something we have replicated many times for all M365 services. This leaves us presently with a 30 day window (minimum amount of time to keep logs in the Power Platform) where log files are kept in Power Platform and Devo and is needlessly taking up capacity storage holding duplicated data.

The ask here, is to have more options available to us for audit log retention within environment settings. The minimum amount of time is currently 30 days. Even if we were to use the custom option, 31 days would be the minimum retention time we could set. We believe it would be valuable to have additional "shorter", retention times available for those organization like us who offshoot audit logs to a 3rd party storage solution.

The main benefits of this would be

• Minimum duplication of audit log data
• More efficient use of capacity storage
• Reduced overall cost through maximizing storage capacity use before purchasing additional add-ons.

Currently we are not able to see preview of word document in CSH or CSW app.as per business requirement same is needed, and same is available in outlook version used by ICICI bank.

SO in CSW or CSH also we need to have the preview option for Word files.

We found in tablet app that,

when user tires to add another photo while the initial one is being uploaded getting duplicate error which is causing issue for user experience when they are on the ground, imagine not being able to take the required images quickly and/or the app freezing when they are trying to take photos of the ground situation under adverse weather conditions.

Please make this feature available in upcoming releases for tablet apps.

Can we get this feature implement in upcoming releases about on how to capture and download a Detailed report on dynamics mobile app usage of users in Mobile App for admins.

As we, Admins, have done our part to provide access to users for the CRM Mobile App but we have no idea on how well they are using the mobile app to manage their CRM data. 

In the Dataverse Analytics, we can get dashboards which do not really give any usable information.

we are expecting something like individual user data check and analays.

Microsoft release an automatic cleanup for the Teams Dataverse, in which it is very helpful for admins to do the cleanup

The current article shows that Teams Dataverse Policy can be manage but as per checking with Microsoft the plan has change and the feature will not be release. The default policy of inactivity will be set by default to 90 days.

Can we have the feature implemented to reduce snapshot timings from 1 hour to a custom duration like 15 -20 mins in upcoming releases in synapse. this will help to overcome many errors.

We recently migrated from CRM-Data Export Service to CRM-Synapse Integration. Using Snapshot mechanism in Synapse to get the hourly snapshot data. However, we are seeing that, some of the reports are getting impacted because of one hour duration. Earlier used DES were the sync mechanism used to take place in 15mins

Currently in CSH or CSW we are not able to see the preview of excel attachments, at ICICI bank many of the our teams receive excel file from various banks & Financial institute for day to day work,

in outlook we are able to see the preview of excel attachment.

Please consider this feedback.

Wish there is an option to easily setup certifications layout along with number sequences (e.g. production orders, manufacturing item BOM design, technical specifications, legal entity banking information and financial statements, customer balance...)

With Wave 2 Upgrade 22, there has been a button introduced "View More" within timeline (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-apps/user/add-activities#view-email-inline-in-timeline) which expands the email content inline within timeline. If the email content is lengthy and user wants to collapse back this content, there is no way apart from scrolling completely down to click the button "View Less". However before Wave 2 upgrade if we had expanded record content within timeline then clicking anywhere on the content again used to automatically collapse. Requesting you to bring back this feature of collapsing the content on clicking anywhere so that no need for agent to scroll completely down to click "View Less"
