  • Inventory transfer journal makes a financial posting

    When we make a transfer journal there is a financial posting to and from the same inventory account and a default account. This is totally unnecessary and we would prefer that this posting does not occur as it is creating hundreds of transactions. Is there a parameter which is causing this as we did not have this in AX2012? The transfer are within one site
  • No message that a serial number should be entered, when booking the packing slip

    The process works properly when we do the packing process. Shown here in process one: Creating a new sales order with Item RAD_TEST_SN_SO Reserve the item and Release to warehouse Closing the work and going to Pack Creating a new container and pack the item at the new container. The Serial Number registration cames up automatic. Registering a Serial number. Close the container and put it to Bay. Confirm the shipment and crating a packing slip On the Packing Slip the Serial Number are ther and we also find it on the Serial Number Item Trace. Now the problem is if the item is not sent via Packing. But directly from the Sales Order. I show this in process 2. Creating a new sales order Using update line for pick. Add the picking line and comfirm. Now pocking directly the packing slip. If I now simply book the packing slip, there is no message that I should enter a serial number. But this should be mandatory to make the system secure. I actually expect the same dialog as for packing. We are aware that the function can be called via Update Line, but at least a warning should be given that the employee will not forget this. It should not be possible to simply ship goods that require a serial number without a serial number. for further questions please contact me.
  • Registered transaction from mobile device

    is it possible to see all the transaction registered with the mobile device (history of transactions)? I'm referring to the receiving through mobile device. Of course i'm not referring to the item transactions since i have already received that items. I want to see the quantity registered (in general, all the history).

    When adding Opening balance it becomes “Adjustment” instead of “Opening balance” Time and attendance – Setup – Payroll – Payroll statistics groups Time and attendance – Maintain payroll – Adjust payroll statistics The value becomes an Adjustment instead of Adjustment type: Opening balance, that was selected.
  • In the Sales Order form, "Insert columns" is missing

    In the Sales order form and in particular under Sales order lines, when opening the Item number lookup, it is not possible insert new columns for the item number opening form. The "Insert columns" button in fact is not existing.
  • Contact person applied on RFQ for vendor does not flow to purchase order after accepting bid

    We populate field contact person for the vendor line in RFQ. We process the RFQ, and accept a bid. When opening the purchase order created, the contact person field is not populated.
  • Order that exceeds the qty of inventory

    When warehouse management is enabled and are using automatic reservation, and allowing negative physical inventory, then place an order that is more the total available in all your warehouses. At warehouse 8008 (screenshot 1) there inventory is 20. If you then create a sales order with qty 1, everything is normal (screenshot 2). But if I change the qty on the sales order to 200 ea, the inventory in all other warehouses is messed up (screenshot 3).
  • Using different weight and mass unit of measure (USCS/Metric,kg/lbs,cm/inch) in different legal entities

    We have the issue that we have the usage of 2 different unit of measure systems in our legal entities. The european uses the metric and the us the USCS unit of measure system. Looking on our products all mass values are maintained in kg and all length values are maintained in cm. In the FnO environment for whatever reason no System unit is defined for any unit of measure class. Asking our main implementation partner, our warehouse integration partner and also post this question on the community channels doesn't brings us a result. How is the correct way to get the weight, volume, etc. of a Quotation/Order calculated in pound for our legal US entities in the system using their unit of measurement system? Currently all calculated weights in the system of the US legal entities are wrong, and i.E. the freight weights are not correctly charged because they are represented in kg instead of lbs.
  • Limit purchase order list to user that has created order.

    The client needs to be able to restrict the purchase order list to orders that have only been created by that specific user. They are not using requisitions. They will create a purchase order as the first step. They do not want the user to be able to access all purchase orders, only purchase orders created by that specific user.
