  • Additional Sales Document Layouts for customers

    There are some customer documents missing from the Document layouts on the customer. It would be good if all the layouts in the Report Selection Sales page were available. The biggest one we need is the Shipment as that is the packing slip which is often emailed with the shipment. this of course would also apply to vendors to have all the Purchasing Report Selections available.
  • Release from Purchase Blanket in Planning

    We have not used blanket purchase orders for any customers as they do not function the way most Purchase Contracts work in the US. They only work for companies doing manual purchasing. The Blankets should have a start and End date (which can be adjusted) We need to get messages in Planning for blanket order releases vs creating messages for new purchase orders. The message would create a new Purchase order and reference the Blanket PO (Contract) with the blanket order prices as long as the PO date was within the blanket range and had quantity remaining. We have used alternate reports for reporting on blankets expiring or running low on remaining quantity. This would allow the blanket order to work more like purchasing contracts in the United States.
  • Link Fixed Asset to a Service Item

    Ability to link a fixed asset to a service item and possibly create a fixed asset from the service item or a service item from a fixed asset.
  • Line level and Lot/serial card attachments

    Companies need line level attachments and attachments to Lots/serial numbers (information card), especially on the purchase receipt side. When items are received many times there is an inspection report from the vendor or a certificate of conformance that needs to be attached to the line on the purchase order / warehouse receipt / purchase receipt. This document may also be lot or serial number specific and ideally would be attached to the information card. This is also seen on the sales side where a company may have a certificate of conformance or a quality document or documents that are item specific and would be attached to the sales line and related document lines (shipment/invoice, etc.). Not having this is a major impediment to traceability and being able to produce proper quality certificates for products purchased or manufactured and sold
  • Option to hide Sale and Purchase in the Item Journal

    Most companies do not use the transaction type of Sale or Purchase in the item journals and more likely than not if they did they did it by mistake. It would be nice if there was an option to hide these 2 types to improve the efficiency and reduce errors in the item journal.
  • Shipping Time for Ship-to Addresses

    We need to be able to enter shipping time for customer ship-to addresses. These addresses are not just different docks in a building, they can be in completely different states or even countries and it would help if you could set the shipping time for them. When you add the ship-to to a sales order if there is no shipping time on the ship to, you can default tot he ship time on the sell-to customer. This would help to calculate a correct Shipment date on the sales line (by the way Shipment Date is a very poorly named field, it should be something like Shipping Pack Date).
  • Output Explode Routing follow Manufacturing setup Default for quantity

    On the manufacturing setup there is a field "Preset Output Quantity" that can be set to Zero on all operations, Expected quantity, or zero last operation. This effects the Production Journal right now but it should also be used for the output journal when the explode routing process is run. When you explode the routing it would be ideal if the output quantity was set based on the manufacturing setup parameter.
  • Remember Settings in Availability pages

    On pages like Item Availability by event, especially when called from the item or sales order pages, remember the users settings for the forecast name and include planning suggestions. Customers typically want these fields to be consistent when checking availability and it is very efficient and easy to forget to add the forecast every time and also check the include planning suggestions.
  • Planning Worksheet and Journals open in Excel

    Add the ability to open the planning worksheet in Excel. Also allow journals like the physical inventory Journal to be sent to excel.
  • Customer Outbound Warehouse Handling Time

    We need to be able to set an Outbound Warehouse Handling Time per customer. Many times some customers require more time to stage and pack their orders (i.e. 1D or 2D) while others are just pick and ship (i.e. 0D). This would always override the setting on the location or inventory setup in all cases. It may also be beneficial to be able to set at the item level, however determining hierarchy between this and if there is also a setting on the customer. It is really limiting to only be able to set at the Location level as the lowest level.
