It has been asked for many times by customers to have the ability to do fixed quantity BOM items.
For example if you use 1 of a particular component no matter what quantity the production order is for you could set the item up as fixed quantity with the quantity = 1.
This would also be valuable if you were to want to adjust a BOM on a particular production order and call for a fixed amount of a component either on or not on the BOM. there are times it is not directly a quantity per item but a quantity per order.
You can manually consume components in any amount but we would like ot be able to setup the production order bom in advance if possible so the material is planned and if you create a pick the item and amount would be on a pick for the order.

The factbox for Lot Numbers by Bin (page 9126) is missing / hidden on the bin contents page and the users cannot show it. It is extremely useful when using lot numbers and bins.

This was from a MS support ticket where we were having issues creating a Sandbox and also found out the Production Environment upgrade failed and was not updated. We need notification with as much information as possible what the error was that was causing the failure in the update as soon as possible from the attempt.
MS Response from the ticket:
"The notification service only runs once every couple of weeks. Probably the broken extension was uploaded after the last run of the service and that would be the reason of why you were not notified, as far as I know.
We understand that it would be good to know the reason of why it was failing (in this case the extension issue), and taking this into account we think it is a good idea that should be implemented on the application. Which is why, we suggest you post this as an idea in the link attached below, like this, when our DevOps team see it, they take in consideration your idea."

When you do an item reclass to move an item from bin to bin it sets the new bin as fixed in the bin contents. The majority of my customers do not want this behavior. They manually set a default bin and possibly one or tw fixed bins for an item (alternate prefered stock bins. Then they may put material into a different bin if these locations are full but they don't want these bins to be fixed bins in the bin contents as they are one time temporary bins.
It would be good to have a setting for "Create Bin Contents as Fixed" that could be set to False and bin contents would be created with fixed = false unless it was manually set or was the default bin.

When a new item is received that does not have a default bin, the bin will be set to the receive bin specified on the location. It should not set the default to the bin set as the receive bin, it should set it to the bon you actually put the item away to from the receive bin.

We need the ability when adding attachments to items to have the attachments flow to production orders like they do for the purchase and sales process.

The bin is not a visible field on documents like the Pick, Put Away, etc. The Bin should be visible = True by default so you don't have to have every user show it on the warehouse document pages.

When you carry out action messages from the planning or requisition worksheet to create and print purchase orders, if there are multiple orders it will only print one of the orders. USers should be able to print all orders that were created when they perform this function.
