  • It is critical to have vendor selection for type of “Goods in transit order” in Quality association

    When you receive a PO order by using a Voyage (then a Good in transit) it’s very important to generate quality order only for the vendors that requires a quality check. 

    but currently we only have following three types: sales, Purchase, Route operation are support for account code, Vendor selection is not enabled for Goods in transit order.


    This is very critical for customer business, for example: for the same item I can have 2 vendors, 1 internal and 1 external, I must have the possibility to automatically generate quality orders only for the external vendor.

    POs received by using the Good in transit are like normal PO and will need to have the possibility to manage different quality association per Vendor. This is very important for all our customers that are using the “Landed costs” module and the “Quality management”.

  • Warehouse mobile app should not show both errors and warnings in the same way

    When we over receive a GIT order, the scanner displays warning message as error message.

    When configured with work creation process - Goods in transit item receiving and put away. In the Mobile Device Menu item, there is only option for selecting "Warning" for “Over tolerance”. This is to warn the Mobile app user when they over receive a GIT order. However, the "Warning" message that pops up in the mobile is titled as "Error", which confuses users because system is allowing them to over receive. If it is an error, system should not proceed to receive the items. So, the error message was not error but just a warning.


    Customer expect product team makes a change in code it should be at minimum possible to catch the Infolog level at error, warning or info. Now warehouse worker has to remember which errors are blockers which errors are not. It confused the customer.

    Customer also suggest implementing this to support with a different color banner the warning (orange) and (red) for error depending on the highest level or issue. Possibly adding a symbol for waning lines and for error lines. Users suppose errors are captured from Infolog and send as plain text to the app If they would get formatted with some symbol placeholders and the app replaces them with the right logos then we should have a better solution.

  • Suggest implementing Production overview form to show inventory dimension from inventory transaction instead of prodtable

    On production overview form, it is showing dimension from prod table, not from production order inventory transaction. normally when user create production order, they only specify the site and warehouse info, as they don't know the final location for the finished goods and not yet decide the batch and serial number. Then on the production overview form, no location, batch, and serial number is displayed even the production order is reported as finished and the inventory transaction has location and other dimension (batch or serial).

  • Should enable user to configure sales line in an Intercompany chain

    In an intercompany direct delivery scenario, when an original Sales order is created for this customer with an Item that is not a Configurable item, and the Inter-company Purchase order and Inter-company Sales order is created successfully. When user add a 2nd line for a Configurable item which is not set up to be Direct delivered, when attempt to use the menu option under Sales line > Product and supply > Product model > Configure line, it is greyed out. users need to have the ability to configure items that are Configurable when adding multiple lines to a sales order that is Inter- company.


    This behavior impacting the ability to meet customer' expectations, results in dissatisfied which impacts sales. User cannot use standard out of the box functionality to pull in correct requested ship dates on intercompany orders due to this issue. users are attempting to enable configuration that improves the quality of data that are providing to customers regarding when products will ship. The configuration does not work with products that are set up and configured items. It is blocking user from enabling any of this configuration and thus impacting all customer orders.
