Add Flexi Leave category in MSVacation for global holidays.

Suggested by Neha Shrotriya New  0 Comments

Add Flexi Leave category in MSVacation.

Currently the holiday list is strictly tied to the country of work. This includes things like Bank holidays but also festival related holidays.

If someone from India (for example) working in UK, wants to celebrate a certain important holiday(like Holi, Diwali), they have to avail Annual Leave but get 4-5 days of holidays for Christmas.

Traditional holidays which are of high value to other countries/ regions should be added as part of the Flexi holiday list. Employees should get at least 2-3 flexible holidays in an year. These could be chosen from a list a predetermined holidays across the globe.

This promotes Microsoft's core priority of Diversity & Inclusion and also aligns with OneMicrosoft.

Bank group on Worker profile in Human Resource module

Suggested by Valentina Matušek New  0 Comments

When entering employee/worker master data, under the section of Bank account, there should be an option to choose Bank group. This already exists for e.g. Vendors and Customers, why not on Employees profile? Bank group selection enables us to prefill all necessary data and minimize tipping errors, especially during mass hire seasons.

In Employee Leaves, enable the maximum number of leave to be more than one year

Suggested by Samruddha Medhekar New  0 Comments

As per European laws, employees are entitled to take various types of paid leaves than can extend for more than a year. In the HR Module/Leaves & Absence module of D365 F&O, if we select any employee record and try to submit a leave request, we are unable to enter the leave duration for more than a year. If we try to enter the leave duration for more than a year, the system automatically defaults the End Date to be exactly one year from the Start Date.

This is not a logical as there is no reason to assume why the system should restrict any employee from taking a leave for more than a year.

    Path -

In HR module -> Select any employee. For e,g. Alicia Thornber.

    Go in the Leaves tab.

Click on View Leave of absence.

Click on Request leave of absence

Select the Start Date to any date.

Try to select the End date to any date that is more than a year from the start date.

System will automatically default the end date to be one year from the start date only.

Customization is not a solution either as due to technical restrictions in the code present for the Leaves.

Because of this restriction, European customers can face legal compliance issues if they are unable to grant sufficient leaves to their employees. Remove the restriction so users can submit the leave request for as long as they like.

Possibility to turn off/on 'Add To Queue' feature containing current queue auto selected

Suggested by Shah Alam Hidayatullah New  1 Comments

    Hi,

As we know that in Release Wave 1 of 2023, we got a new feature that when we use 'Add To Queue' feature, the popup contains current queue as auto selected by default.

As per my understanding this feature came so user can check the current queue easily.

But for some projects it's increasing user click if they want to route the case to any other queue they first need to remove the current queue as selected by default then select other queue.

So, if we have one option to turn it on/off then it will be very useful for all projects if any project wants to have it they can keep it turned on otherwise they can simply turn it off.

    Thanks,

Accessibility: screen reader get's too much input to read in time off request form (NVDA/JAWS)

Suggested by Joep Hein New  0 Comments

We have some blind users who are using JAWS / NVDA as a screen reader to navigate self-service and submit time off requests.

When selecting the "Start date" field in the time off request dialog in D365 Human Resources the following is read by the screen reader:

"Start date combo box collapsed required editable opens dialog after the lookup is open, you can use alt+down to move focus into the lookup. Selected 04/02/2025."

Expected: something much shorter and user friendly.

I can add an example of what is expected from Replicon, this is a very similar form, also for the start date of a time off request with a calendar popup when clicking on the field itself.

Current the screen reader reads here: "Start edit, selected April 2nd, 2025"

This is just a specific example. It applies to all fields in D365 self-service which makes navigating D365 self-service very hard for blind users. Please let us know how D365 Human Resources (F&O) can better support blind users under the USA Websites and Software Applications Accessibility Act (ADA) and the European Accessibility Act (EAA).

Adherence to European accessibility act and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)

Suggested by Joep Hein New  0 Comments

I like to check how Dynamics 365 F&O and especially the Human Resources module and more specifically the Employee Self Service and the Leave Absences functionality in Self Service do support the European accessibility act approved in 2019, coming into effect on 28 June 2025.

Web WAI-ARIA guidelines recommend to ensure all your tooltips are accessible to everyone.

I believe currently the product is lacking required accessibility features that help blind people to navigate the product and submit time off requests or goals from Self Service.

Currently many controls like buttons do not have a tooltip at all. For example the Submit button for a time off request.

Other tools tips only contain the value entered, and can be more clear, including the field label.

Tables included in Self Service are not recognized by accessibility tools like JAWS or NVDA.

    Correct Headcount analysis by Location

Suggested by Ben Buresh New  1 Comments

Currently, employees with an address in Lantana, Florida appear in the Headcount by Location visual on the Personnel management workspace in Lantana, Texas instead. This should be corrected so that the visual places when once city name exists in multiple states.

Change the MSS Manager Absence Calendar default View with date range 91 days (instead of 28 days) and 'Without request' option enabled, 'Leave of Absence' option enabled at the first visit.

Suggested by Angela Do New  0 Comments

The current design of Manager Absence Calendar default View obtains:

-Date range within 28 days since today date.

-View options having 'Without requests' and 'Leave of Absence' options to be disabled.

Our request is to change this default view in which the date range is within 91 days and View options having 'Without requests' and 'Leave of Absence' enabled.

Business impact: We need to show all direct reports for managers with and without time off requests/leave of absence (So they can see their direct reports working calendar/if their is a public holiday coming up for any of their reports - A lot of managers have staff from various locations so it is hard to keep track of all employees public holidays)

Add "Position" field to Variable compensation enrollment and award

Suggested by Daniel Ajiwe New  0 Comments

For multi position holders it important to be able to indicate or identify which position a variable compensation enrollment or award is related to.

For example, where a variable compensation is 5% of a base salary (Fixed compensation). If the worker has multiple positions, there is no way to correctly identify which fixed compensation the 5% is based on. This will bring about consistency in how compensation plans (fixed and variable) are recorded, enhancing the ease during integration to payroll, reporting and administration of compensation in general.
