Inventory lookup to show breakdown of warehouse locations in POS
Suggested by Holly Haines – Under Review – 2 Comments
Enhance the existing inventory lookup screen in POS to allow users to see the qty of inventory within a certain inventory location within the warehouse (backroom, salesfloor, returns area, etc...). This can better help a user to understand where the inventory is if trying to help a customer locate the item in the store. -
Info Code Input Type of AlphaNumeric needed
Suggested by Jen Shanahan – Under Review – 18 Comments
We would like to have info codes have an input type of Alphanumeric so that we could utilize Min/Max value rules to prevent invalid info code entries.
We have scenarios where we sell 'passes' that have a serial number on them. Often times a cashier will scan the UPC into the info code instead of the serial number causing reporting data to be incorrect. If we could set min/max rules based on alphanumeric info codes this would make the info code invalid and prevent incorrect data points.
For example the barcode of an item is: 012100001 the serial number that we ask for in the info code is something like 24AB98765 If we could set a Min Value of 24AB0000000 it would prevent someone from scanning the item barcode into the info code.

Exclude from Credit management toggle being included as an enable/disable option in Retail parameters or Retail shared parameters
Suggested by Rositsa Neofitova – Under Review – 8 Comments
On Sales order, there is a toggle "Exclude from credit management". For normal sales orders, this is set to No but for call center sales order, this is set to Yes automatically upon order creation.
This change was implemented in 10.0.21 version: Details for issue 572582 (dynamics.com) -
This is causing issues for some customers that would like the credit management check to be performed for all orders, albeit retail orders or SCM sales orders. The reason for the credit management check to be needed on all orders is to prevent ‘risky’ customers to prepay before placing an order.
Suggestion: Please add a toggle in Retail Parameters or Retail Shared Parameters that will allow for customers to select if they want the credit management rules to be applied on all orders or only on SCM orders.

Click and Collect fulfilled from central warehouse, rather than store
Suggested by Andrew Newnham – Under Review – 8 Comments
We desperately need functionality to process a click and collect order where the order is fulfilled from a central warehouse. This is the process the vast majority of customers uses, mainly for picking abilities and stock accuracy (better at warehouse than in store). As opposed to taking the stock from store, the stock is picked at a central warehouse, and delivered to the store, pre packages ready for customer pick up. We need the ability to a.) process this kind of order (from all channels) b.) mark it as received at the store (with an email sent to the customer to notify them it is ready to collect) - preferably by scanning the order number in a separate screen. c.)Pick up process which is just an acknowledgement in the system that it is been collected (the dispatch and invoice has already been completed). d.) Ideal scenario - a mechanism to process failed collections - where the customer does not show up. In this scenario, we should be able to refund the customer automatically, and either put the stock back into store stock, or return to the warehouse. -
Add new products to customer orders during pick-up process
Currently when using the customer order functionality user are not able to add products to the transaction at the time of customer pickup. These order are also locked in the order fulfillment screen from editing once the picking process has been completed. This makes it difficult to up-sell customers with items that are available within the store as it would be a time consuming process put the order back into edit mode before processing pick up In the same fashion that functionality was added for customers to be able to carry-out items when the transaction is being created, users should be able to add additional products at the time of pick up for items that can be carried out of the store. Any new items added to the transaction at this time will have the delivery method of customer carry-out selected and could then be processed under the same payment transaction if needed. -
Disable expiration periode pairingkey for CPOS and hardware station
Suggested by Peter Pauwels – Under Review – 4 Comments
The pairing key of CPOS and hardware station expires after a given number of days. Standard this is set to 180 days and the maximum value is 1000 days. When the key expires the users must select the hardware station again before they can work with CPOS again. If there is no specific need to use this expiration period, you should be able to disable this. This would result in less phone calls or tickets for the it support team.

Hide or Disable payment methods to not appear in payment list on MPOS
Suggested by Abdulmajeed Alghazali – Under Review – 3 Comments
Since 18 months we created 20 payment methods but currently there are 5 of them is not required and not acceptable by company, unfortunately keep the complete 20 payment methods giving cashiers chance to select some of these not acceptable payment methods. It will be great idea having the possibility to hide or disable (Because we can not delete it) some payment methods, so it will not appear for cashiers in the payment methods list.

Select Loyalty program from POS
Suggested by Rositsa Neofitova – Under Review – 0 Comments
The idea is for the worker to be able to select which loyalty program will get assigned to a loyalty card, when the card is issued through POS. At the moment, when you create a new customer through POS and issue a loyalty card for that customer, all existing loyalty programs under that legal entity get attached to the card. What it would be really useful for many customer is to be able to select the loyalty program at the time of card issuing through POS. -
Support receipt printing for donations made on the Adyen terminal
Suggested by Ruben Delgado – Under Review – 1 Comments
Summary:
Beginning in January, California will require a receipt for charitable donations. Donations can be made today on an Adyen device, but the connector needs to call a "transaction status" API to retreive the receipt. This cannot be done through customization and requires a fix from Microsoft.
Details:
Adyen supports something called "Adyen Giving", which enables merchants to prompt customers for charitable donations after a transaction in which they pay with a credit card. In this scenario, after paying for the transaction, the customer is prompted to ask if they would like to donate to _____? If they want to donate, they select an amount, then tap their card to pay. The flow is entirely outside of Dynamics and can be supported out of box today.
In the US, charitable donations can be used as a tax deduction by presenting a credit card statement with the donation- as long as it is under $250. Over that amount and they need a proper receipt.
On January 1, California is introducing rules that govern charitable giving platforms. Those rules stipulate that a customer must receive a receipt for a donation regardless of amount. Adyen supports retrieving a receipt for a charitable donation by making a "transaction status" request. This request will return the result of the "Giving" flow on the device, along with the credit card receipt, if a donation was made. If Microsoft enables the "transaction status" request, then merchants will be able to provide receipts for donations at the point of sale and be compliant with California law.
