Case List Viewing
Suggested by Angel Cruz – Rejected – 0 Comments
Hello! Some of our users have been experiencing some Cases view issues. Similar to my recently submitted idea it seems to be on the Customer Service Workspace app as well, but maybe not entirely, hence the creation of a new 'Idea':
- The case list view (with user-set filters) seems to be acting strangely sometimes when navigating back to the case list after opening/closing a case opened from the list. The results returned in the list is reduced drastically and doesn’t update to match the actual set filters until using the refresh button. I've experienced this one personally. I've had to refresh to get the total count back up accurately.
- Similarly to the item above, another behavior has been noticed (in the CSW) where the case list doesn’t refresh when returning to it after working/closing a case that would have previously been returned as an open case in the filtered list. So, the list results remain stale after processing a record from the list in another tab, whereas previously in this same app, the closed record was removed from the result list.

Suggested by Krishna Reddy – Rejected – 1 Comments
In CRM when customer sends an email to shared mailbox and internal users in BCC/To/CC sometimes those emails are not receiving to Activity monitor and due to these the case creation is not happening. We are experiencing these issues in CRM, please suggest the reasons or fix the behaviour in upcoming releases.
When customer sends email only to shared mailbox Email to Case creation works perfectly without any issues.
When customer sends email to shared mailbox and adding any internal users in To/BCC/CC then sometimes these emails are not entering into Activity monitor and due to these case creation is not happening.

Activity table attachments in timeline on Case
Suggested by Thomas Nordli – Rejected – 0 Comments
When working a Case the ability to view related activities in the timeline is essential.
When working with other activities than Email e.g. Portal Comment you have to open the record to check if there is any attachment and view it through Notes displayed in Portal Comment timeline.
My suggestions is:
If customers enable an activity table for attachments they should be able to view thumbnails of the attachment and preview it from a related table, like on the Case timeline. This is currently how it works on the Email table.
The creation of a record in an attachment enabled activity should also feel like sending an Email. The adding of attachments through notes in a timeline is confusing for the workers. Out of the box Notes on a Case is for case notes.
But if you set up Portal Comments to be your activity to your Power Page, Notes is used for adding attachments too?
Not ok for us as a business. Using notes for case notes in one situation and using notes for attachments in another situation.

Click "Save & Close" Once when preforming a NavigateToMainForm action
Suggested by Chrissy Arnold – Rejected – 0 Comments
We would like to request an enhancement to be able to only click "Save & Close" once to complete the case record.
Issue reported and resolution provided from MSFT Tech:
The NavigateToMainForm function adds the target form to the browser's History stack.
For example if you're on the Contacts form and you perform NavigateToMainForm
("Accounts")
, clicking on your browser's back button will take you from the Accounts form back to the Contacts form. The "Close" part of the Save & Close button is the same thing as pressing the browser's back button: it returns you to the record you came from. What is happening in your case that you're on the Case form, and you're performing a NavigateToMainForm to that exact same record. So clicking "Save & Close" saves any changes you've made and returns you to the record you came from which happens to be that same one, that's why you will need to click twice in the button so it returns to the All Cases view or the default view you have configured.

Add buttons on the timeline to create activities
Suggested by Timothy Bohte – Rejected – 0 Comments
There is a Pluss sign on top of the timeline on the case form. On the left side of it there is a big empty space when you use a large screen. Could you add buttons for each activity, so that users can easily create an activity related to the case?
Just like on the general view of activities, where you can do that from the top ribbon.
