Customer required flag in discounts
Suggested by Donna Taylor – New – 0 Comments
In the coupon set up within discounts there is the ability to turn on the flag of 'customer required'. This ensures that the discount only applies to named customers and not the default passer by customer.
This flag should be also available on all discounts so that passer by customers can be excluded from discounts. This encourages customer participation in loyalty programs

Free gift option
Suggested by Donna Taylor – New – 0 Comments
When creating a free gift promotion, there should be the ability to offer an option of the free gift so that the customer can choose which free gift they would like. The alternative should also consider stock on hand so that if the stock runs out of one of the options then only the remaining free gift products are offered.

Detailed Workflow error messages
Suggested by Ufuk Gürkan – New – 0 Comments
Currently, workflow error messages do not guide the end user.
For example, an error is received stating that a purchase order cannot be distributed because an accounting account is not active. The error message simply states "Failed to Validate Accounting Distribution". If the user has not previously received this error, the error is passed on to the key user, who then contacts the software developer for monitoring.
A lot of effort is spent for a simple account inactivity error. For this reason, I recommend that workflow error messages be written in more detail for the end user.

improve batch job error message on update expiry dates / update best before dates
Suggested by Adam Davenport – New – 0 Comments
When running an update dates batch job above it can give an error message stating "Best before date must be less than or equal to expiry date." however due to amout of batches we have we can not tell which batch job has the error.
so the idea is the add the batch id and the item number so we can look at it easier, could also include recid.

The issue with the explosion view showing incorrect planned production orders for demand forecasts.
Suggested by Youssef Eissa – New – 0 Comments
Description:
-------------
We have identified an issue with the explosion view in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, specifically when dealing with demand forecasts. The explosion view shows incorrect planned production orders due to a missing link between the "calculated delays" form and the explosion view. This results in incorrect information being displayed when using Planning Optimization.
Problem:
-------------
When there are multiple demand forecasts (or any other demand without RefId), the base record in the explosion form always defaults to the first of the similar records, regardless of which forecast demand has the focus in the net requirements form. Although the pegging information in the net requirements is generated correctly, it is not possible to get the explosion form to show the breakdown for the second demand forecast.
Impact:
-------------
This issue affects the accuracy of production planning and can lead to inefficiencies in managing demand forecasts. The current workaround involves selecting the demand forecast in the net requirements, identifying the order that the forecast is pegged against, and then opening the explosion view with this order selected. While this workaround is functional, it is not ideal and can be cumbersome for users.
Request:
-------------
We propose enhancing the explosion view to correctly display planned production orders for all demand forecasts, ensuring that the link between the "calculated delays" form and the explosion view is established. This improvement will streamline the planning process and enhance the accuracy of production orders.
Remarks:
-------------
We understand that this issue has been acknowledged by the D365 Product Team but has not been prioritized for a fix at this time. We believe that addressing this issue will significantly improve the user experience and efficiency for all customers using Planning Optimization in D365 Finance and Operations.

Support Pay by link (PBL) for regular SCM orders and invoices
Suggested by Shalabh Jain – New – 0 Comments
This idea is to submit a suggestion to support the ability to create a payment link for the SCM orders such that when the customers make a payment, then the payment will be recorded against these orders and then the orders will be fulfilled. The same is applicable for the invoice payments as well.

Option to Automatically Allocate Supplementary Items on Purchase Orders
Suggested by Patrick Truong – New – 0 Comments
We are looking to have a toggle on the Supplementary items setup screen to have them automatically populate when criteria are reached when it's raised on the purchase and sales orders.
Users having to manually remember to click calculate supplementary items on Purchase orders doesn't bring in accuracy or efficiency using the supplementary items process without it auto populating.

Retrieve cost categories from resource groups in routes, including when using Engineering Change Orders
Suggested by Giuseppe Monaco – New – 0 Comments
In the resource and resource group master data, certain information (such as cost categories and timing) can be set at the resource level, and this information is automatically inherited when the resource is added to a route.
Currently, when a resource group is added to an operation on a route, the system suggests retrieving the cost categories and timing from the resource details.
This automatic process works correctly for both individual resources and resource groups.
However, in the Engineering Change Management (ECM) module, creating a new route is done through an Engineering Change Order (ECO). Currently, when a resource is added in an ECO, the cost categories are correctly copied from the resource.
Issue: When a resource group is added to a route through ECO, the cost categories associated with the resource group are not automatically inherited, which deviates from the standard behavior.
Request: Align the ECO behavior with the standard functionality so that when a resource group is added to a route, the cost categories associated with the resource group are also automatically inherited.
