Over pick raw material picking (production orders)

Even if BOM are not correct - if materials are stored in a bulk container and the quantity in that container is greater than the pick quantity, it seems we expect clients to "weigh off" the needed quantity from that container - rather that pick the full container quantity, and return the remaining inventory once the production run is completed. I am surprised this issue is not raised more often and I imagine this is a could be used by most all process manufacturers. Overpicking is a more efficient approach.

This is a limitation that really should be solved. We have spent many hours trying to find work arounds, without any real success. The customer has a hard time to understand this limitation.

I believe this is required. We had to develop the functionality for two customers. the main reason being to manage inconsistent bulk containers.

We have found this incredibly frustrating with clients. It is hard to explain how there is an option to "allow over pick" without supporting the functionality in the mobile device. I second that this is a must have!

This is a must have for any process manufacturer as they typically pick more materials than the formula calls for and is frustrating to have to tell them they have to use round-up or other functionality that doesn't fully meet their needs.

This is a total must have. Each new implementation, the question comes up and we just have to find work-arounds which simply doesn't make sense considering it already exists for transfer and sales orders picking.

An absolute must have... It must take into account nested LP !
