Create a button to disable the sync between Azure AD and CRM
Suggested by System Administrator – New – 0 Comments
Hi team,
Referring to your official article, System and application users it states that CDSUserManagement is responsible for provisioning and synchronizing users into Dataverse from Active Directory.
However, we’ve noticed that when we create a plugin, the System User updates our Mobile Phone table instead of CDS. To prevent this, could you please create an option (button) to disable this synchronization? This would ensure that System User and CDS won't update our table going forward.
Thank you, and I look forward to your assistance.

Hint / Tooltip for how to use Power FX within Power Pages
Suggested by Marcel Wittrin – New – 0 Comments
Power Pages supports using Power FX in a couple of places. One of which is the Iframe URL of the Iframe compontent.
When editing the Iframe URL there is a pop-up stating "This component supports Power Fx. Try it". By clicking on "Try it", the Power Fx formula input opens. Even if a URL was previously set for the Iframe, the formula input is blank at first - which makes sense if you want to replace it with a formula.
However, inputting the formula reveals a problem. Although the syntax highlighting works, the formula does not. Instead, it's interpreted as a text - in this case as a URL - such that the browser tries to open the formula as a URL, which obviously does not work.
The issue is that for Power Pages to know you're using a formula, you need to put a "=" at the beginning of it. This is not explained however and due to the fact that the syntax highlighting works regardless makes this very unintuitive.
To address this, I would suggest to either:
- Automatically add an "=" (for this case specifically), since the formula input is cleared upon opening for the first time anyway.
- Add a hint / popup, informing the user that in order to use a Power Fx formula, they have to start with an "="
- Add a help / info button that sends the user to the respective article (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-pages/configure/power-fx) about Power Fx in Power Pages
Also, please disable syntax highlighting if the "=" is not present.

generate usage report for single model driven apps
Suggested by Xiaowu Chen – New – 0 Comments
In Power Platform admin center, under Analytics->Dataverse, where we can see the CRUD operations view.
Ideally, we also want to see the same report for some model driven apps, and to monitor the usage of the app.
Thanks!

Suggestions for Security Roles Update - with the new UI
Suggested by Cristina Cristofoli – New – 0 Comments
As we are now forced to use the new UI to update security roles, I’ve encountered a few challenges that I believe, if addressed, could significantly enhance the user experience:
- Bulk Updates for Security Roles: The current process for updating security roles can be time-consuming, especially when needing to make changes to multiple roles. Could you consider implementing a feature that allows for easier bulk updates? This would greatly improve efficiency, particularly for organizations that need to manage a large number of security roles.
- Increase the Viewable Rows: The new UI currently displays only four rows at a time, which limits visibility and makes it difficult to get an overview of the settings. Extending the view to show more rows would be a significant improvement, allowing users to see more data without needing to scroll as frequently.
- Optimize View Width: The current width of the permission settings view often requires horizontal scrolling, which can be cumbersome. Reducing the width of the view or allowing for more flexible resizing options would help ensure that all relevant information is visible at a glance, without the need for excessive scrolling.
I believe these enhancements would make the interface more user-friendly and efficient for those of us who regularly manage security roles.

Ability to Hide Dataverse columns from displaying in views & filters
Suggested by Joseph Merhej – New – 0 Comments
In dataverse, many tables come with system fields that customers often do not want to see. This request is about adding the ability to hide a field (system or custom one) from both "Edit Columns" and "Edit Filters" buttons in a table view.
We found a metadata attribute called "IsValidForGrid" that seem to hide fields upon being updated to false, but support team confirmed that it isn't currently possible to update it programatically.
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/power-platform/power-apps/create-and-use-apps/troubleshoot-model-driven-app-view-issues#column-doesnt-appear-in-the-column-editors-add-columns-list.
If you also believe that the lots of system un-used fields are bothering & adding confusion to end users, please vote this idea!

when we import solution the account which performed the step owns the flow connections does not provide option to select which account to use connections in flow
Suggested by Anush Alati – New – 0 Comments
when user is importing the solution containing flows in target org it is requesting user to create connections for the flows but as the user who is importing the solution does not have access to connectors users were facing issue importing solutions. So as a work around users who own the connectors were given privilege's to import the solutions and then the privilege is removed but as solution was imported by the user they are able to edit the flows in the production org. User would like to disable the edit option in the dashboard.

Publish App outside of edit mode
Suggested by Alex London – New – 0 Comments
Please allow applications to be published without having to open the application in edit mode.
We recently ran into a problem which took us several weeks to resolve where we imported a managed solution into a powerapps environment. During the import the active managed layer created was not set as the published live layer, and so we had to go into the edit mode of the app to get to the button to publish the application. However by entering the edit mode we are creating a new unmanaged layer, entirely defeating the point of using a managed solution in the first place.
