Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability

Following the doc (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/industry/sustainability/sustainability-manager-import-data-incremental-refresh) for setting up incremental refresh.

Used Transaction date to filter the source data and kept Store rows from the past = 2 days and Refresh rows from the past = 1 day.

Issue – With above configurations, data is being updated from past 2 days.

As Refresh rows from the past = 1 days, it should take past 1 day data for the updates.

Please suggest. 

Microsoft can consider enabling Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability suite of solutions in multiple languages spoken around the world to help non english speakers use the solutions more effectively.

In the importation phase, setting up a fixed value for every column needs an addition in the "import" part, which complexify the flow.

Would be usefull to be able to map a destination field, either to a source column (like today) or a fixed, provided value.

Typical example is for Unit: EUR, KWH, km... or for specific columns like "data quality type", "ORganization unit type"...

Custom Dimensions are coming out soon.

Synopsis: Include additional data attributes by extending the Sustainability data model. This gives you the flexibility to work with your company’s unique data, from import to analysis and reporting.

In essence, each activity and/or emission line item can have a different sets of additional attributes. Those can be used in calculations, and reporting.

For example -

• A purchased electricity activity may have additional information about assembly line, count and types of items associated with it (e.g. fiber, color, quality...).
• And another purchased electricity may have information about a different product line, and extended organization info (e.g. manager, floor...)

So... How would you use the feature?

What would you like to be able to do with such extension? What key problem will it solve for you?

To simplify data import for pre-calculated emissions it sometimes would be easier if you could import data to multiple scopes and sources from the same file as one import.

One example would be if you have an export from Microsoft Surface Emissions Estimator. This is a single Excel file, but the data would need to be imported to several categories.

I can imagine it will be more common with these types of pre-calculated data from large purchases.

[Power apps - Table - Business Rule]

According to case ID #2302170040000336, Business Rule will be invalid, if there is a lock column not put in Forms.

However, there is no any warning/error message so it takes Microsoft Support long time to find out the root cause, and users is hard to know something goning wrong.

Please enhance it by showing the warning message or some notifications to users if the business rule is not worked.

Send alert when there is a failure/error during ingestion.

Currently, the tool only supports “Traditional Chinese”, this is different from "Simple Chinese" language. This is a request to support Simple Chinese language

Enable experienced data analyst to review data entered by into the tool to ensure there are no gaps (before data can be used for calculation and reporting)

Tool should identify potential outliers if data (e.g., activity data) seem to be out of the norm and flag if for review
