Customers frequently ask for the possiblity to personalize (the filtering of) tiles or even add new tiles to their role center.
It is off course possible to add bookmarks to the role center and save filters/views, but the possiblity to personalize tiles is often missed.

I too found it hard to believe that a tool such as BC lacked the capability to easily adjust and make new tiles without requiring development skills.

This is clearly a MUST-Have. No Role Center is perfect and almost every customer needs a mix of tiles from different role-centers. Also each tile should have the possibilty to adjust the filter options behind the tiles.


Since this is not included in the default version of BC we use the already mentioned "DYCE Cockpit" for our customers which is very useful for the basic role centers!

It seems crazy to me that this isn't even on the roadmap for inclusion. The tiles in the role centre have very little value for us without being able to adjust the filtered view or adding our own tile. Likewise, not being able to add additional action links (beyond bookmarking).

If customers use more than one app (like most do) this is a basic need. There is no use having role centers if you can not personalize them for your needs, that is picking tiles from different role centers to the one that fit your needs the best. No role center is perfect since no role center covers your specific mix of apps and needs.
