  • Integration to Dynamics 365 for Operations for heavy supply chain requirements

    I have a client who is a good fit for Dynamics 365 field service and is looking to to replace their ERP including procurement however, has heavy supply chain requirements such as purchase from overseas suppliers (thus foreign currency requirements and freight), replenishment of spares based upon min/max and approval process for purchasing spares.  My idea is to provide Procurement and Sourcing in Operations with the Field Service.

  • Field Service Agreement to cover customer equipment

    A number of organisations have Field Service requirement require service agreements to specify the customer equipment which is under the scope of the agreement.  For example, the Field Service department provides break/fix for customer assets such as cars, computer equipment, facilities etc.  When the customer contacts the call center, this allows customer service to determine whether the call is covered under an agreement and determine:

    1. SLA for the call and the subsequent service order.

    2. Whether the service order is dispatched free of charge or at a rate specified under the agreement

    3. Call is billed on a time and materials basis on a general rate.

     

  • Careers portal for external candidates

    Create an externally facing Careers portal so that interested external candidates can apply for positions available in the Recruitment

  • Integration with recruitment channels such as LinkedIn

    Provide integration between Human Resources recruitment process with recruitment channels such as LinkedIn to post open positions and attempt to locate and recruit candidates

  • Provide the ability for employees to refer candidates

    Provide the ability for employees to refer friends and former workmates for open positions in the Human Resources via the Employee Self Service portal

  • Parse CV, pre-filling CV contents on application form

    Ability to parse CV, pre-filling CV contents on application form for candidates to edit and verify before submitting the application.

  • Provision for candidates to register their interest to get job alerts.

    Provision for candidates to register their interest to get job alerts on a externally facing careers portal

  • Bookable resources internal versus external

    A number of field service organisations have both internal i.e. employees and external i.e. contractors attending to service work orders to either support particular types of calls, geographical regions or to support in peak periods.  The Bookable resources entity should indicate whether the bookable resource is a internal versus external resources so that the use of such resources are tracked as they are typically more expensive resource.

  • Ability to avoid duplicate applications

    Ability to avoid duplicate applications being created in the system by alerting candidates they are already registered as a candidate and associating there existing profile with the new position they are applying for.  This will ensure all of the existing interview and other information associated with the interactions with the company are available to review

  • Assessment of candidates by team involved in recruitment selection process

    Provide a features for the team responsible for assessing candidates to collaborate on the assessment process using social tools, sharing candidate information, interview guides and providing feedback on the candidate’s performance. (with restricted content sharing)
