Automatic Table Linking via “Track Changes”
Microsoft relies solely on the Track Changes checkbox to decide which tables to link. Once enabled, you cannot undo it—posing serious data protection concerns since not all tables should be linked.
Please help me with this idea. Thank you, Microsoft!

Schema Changes Not Detected in Azure Synapse Link create page

In Azure Synapse Link create page, any changes to table schemas (new or edited columns) won’t appear in the link unless data is entered into the modified column. This requirement forces us to write to production data simply to trigger change detection

Glitchy Checkbox Behavior

In creating Azure Synapse Link page, the checkboxes momentarily become editable but then revert to their previous state without any user action. In practice, this means there’s no way to uncheck tables once they’ve been linked.

Enhance the logic for warning user on the limitation of the virtual tables

Understanding the known limitation of the Virtual table, is there should be a warning for the user to understand and take action before committing the action on the tables to reduce data retentions and risk cause by the user.
