Allow Segment data to refresh at local time Midnight instead of UTC +0
Suggested by Waqas Mahmood – New – 0 Comments
Currently, all CI instances segment data refresh at UTC +0, which makes it inconvenient to work with date time fields which are part of the segment critieria. Hence, it will be great if all instances can refresh at their own local time Midnight, so less pre-work will be required to deal with these date time fields. Thanks!

Ability for Sys Admins to see which records a user has accessed (read)
Suggested by Michael Larson – New – 0 Comments
We've contacted MS Support about this and have been informed it isn't possible yet directly through D365 or Power Platform. We're trying to be able and audit which records were viewed/opened by a given user (not changed) - especially for our service account/system integration users. This would be especially helpful for data security checks.

Error Message History and Improvment
Suggested by gary lawrie – New – 0 Comments
There is no way to look at the history detail on error messages for things refresh failures in System. Not that have been able to find, you can see an historic list of failures but not access it to see any details.
Also, the route of clicking on an error hyperlink that then requires 3 more clicks on drop downs just to get the error message is annoying.

Sort option in Data Source/System section on Status field
Suggested by testlog PBILog – New – 0 Comments
providing Sort option in Data Source section on Status field will help us sort on the status so that we can easily see the status wise updates. as of now we do not have sort option for any of the fields in data source section and in System section.

Direct link between consent records and contacts
Suggested by Natalie Bush – New – 0 Comments
As a marketer I get asked at least 50 times a month, how do I determine if my contact is a subscribed. There is no simple way to do this in real-time journeys because the consent record only holds an email, and it's unrelated to contacts/leads. It's also extremely confusing when "bulk email" defaults to allow but has no bearing on whether a consent record actually exists.

Improve Choice Column Handling in Dataverse Tables Ingested in CID
Suggested by Maryam Khoshkar – New – 0 Comments
Currently, columns of type Choice ingested from Dataverse into Customer Insights Data display numeric values instead of readable labels. It would be very helpful to support ingesting Choice columns with their human-readable labels and values for better usability.

extract markdown from binary doc format
Suggested by Joseph-Sacha SCHUTZ – New – 0 Comments
Today, there is no satisfactory solution for a datascientist to extract text from old word files ( binary doc and not docx ).
This is a big problem. We have millions of documents in this format, and it's very difficult to extract text from them.
- the word API only works under windows
- Openoffice doesn't handle parallelism very well.
- Antiword supports very few formats.
- Tikka is a java implementation that works well but remains limited.
However, the Doc binary format specification has been published:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/openspecs/office_file_formats/ms-doc/ccd7b486-7881-484c-a137-51170af7cc22
The funny thing is that even tools like Microsoft/MarkitDown don't support the doc format. You have to use openoffice.
What we want is a command-line program, written in a compiled language (C++ / Rust), to extract a text file from a doc format.
extract-doc file.doc > file.txt
The format specification has been published in open access:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/openspecs/office_file_formats/ms-doc/ccd7b486-7881-484c-a137-51170af7cc22
If you can't do it, we can do it ourselves in a collaboration with Microsoft. But It has to be done. This is an essential need in the age of LLMs.

Gantt chart with dependencies of full refresh
Suggested by Gustaf Westerlund – New – 0 Comments
It would be very good if there was a built in report showing the last x full system refreshes and how long these processes take. It is possible to build this yourself with the diagnostics data but it will not contain the dependencies as described in this excellent article by Fast Track SA Ashwini Puranik: https://community.dynamics.com/blogs/post/?postid=84fbbaaf-262b-f011-8c4e-7c1e5218b899
