Ability to search released products by customer/vendor External Item Number on SO/PO line

Suggested by laura medbery Planned  15 Comments

A frequent requirement for business processes is the ability for sales and procurement to search on the sales/purchase order line by an external item number. Customization is required on every implementation to accommodate the client.

There are translations available through the EDI process, however, EDI is not used by many mom & pop shops which submit their orders via email or fax.

The ability to search by a customer's or vendor's external item description offers greater productivity to our clients via increased speed of order entry and minimizing errors.

Likewise, this functionality allows Microsoft clients greater flexibility and efficiency in serving their customers, creating an enhanced user experience for all parties involved.

    Regards,

    Laura Medbery

Suggested by Milda Bei Planned  19 Comments

Add a new mobile workspace to allow users create new purchase requisitions and submit them to the workflow.

    MRP should regard session date.

Suggested by Shinji Nishiyama Planned  0 Comments

In Dynamics AX 2012, we can run MRP regarding session date.

[For investigation of mistake in the past]
    End users sometimes take mistakes.
They had an experience of lost the order regarding the mistakes.
Obviously, this was a critical issue for them.

For preventing that situation, the root cause analysis is demanded.
Using MRP in the past, they would like to investigate the issue.
If the result of MRP is correct, user missed while confirming, shipping/receiving or invoicing order.
If the result of MRP is incorrect, initial orders were wrong.

For achieving the investigation, they would like to change the execution date of MRP as same as Dynamics AX 2012.

    [For future estimation]
At same time, for the future date, the functionality is also useful.
They can create rough plan of keeping resource in future with MRP if it regards session date.

Need ability to filter the data on the Supply Chain Risk Assessment workspace overview tab by date

Suggested by Jumi Rho Planned  0 Comments

On the overview tab of the Supply risk assessment workspace, there is not way to filter the data by date. We have data going back to 2019 when we implemented Dynamics 365 showing items on purchased orders that are not purchased. So these items are showing up on the overview page. In addition, we have items that are no longer used or active and are still showing up in the Products not OTIF. We would like to be able put a date filter or a time fence on this form so that it is only going back 12 or 24 months, for example. A time fence or date filter would allow us to focus on the products and vendors that are more current and active.

Correct Spanish (latin america) translation: "Route number" field for Route assignment of a production order

Suggested by Héctor Cazot Planned  0 Comments

The translation in "es" (Spain) languaje is correct, but for some of other spanish languajes as "es-mx" it is not correct.

This field is found in Production/Batch order form, Setup section, under the Route group as "Route number". In many "es-*" is correctly translated as "Número de ruta", but in some others as "es-mx" it is translated as "Número de ruta bancario", the last word -bancario- refers to a banking institution which has nothing to do with the production control module.

The "es" (Spain) translation is correct, but must be the same for every other "es-*" languaje.

This field is found in the ProdTable table as "RouteId"

Correct Spanish translation: "Purchase time" field for Lead time tab for the Item Coverage settings

Suggested by Héctor Cazot Planned  0 Comments

The appropiate general Spanish translation for the "Purchase time" (en-us) field to establish the Lead time for the purchase process in the Item coverage form, in the Plan section, from the Released products option in the Product information management module, must be "Tiempo de compra"

The translation "Hora de compra" which has been in Dynamics since I can remember is not correct, the word "Hora" in spanish refers specifically to the lapse of time conformed by 60 minutes. Additionally, it is not consistent with the other two translations in the same place for "Tiempo de producción" and "Tiempo de transferencia" which are correct.

This field is found in the ReqItemTable table as "LeadTimePurchase"
