    Development on Autorun Calculation Profiles

Suggested by Dilara Ugurlu New  0 Comments

    Hello,

We can trigger calculation profiles to run automatically when data connection is refreshed. But this option might be developed to also be run when a new record is added manually (from sustainability manager itself or another portal transferring data to sustainability manager) without using connection. And it would be nice to be run also when any of the records are updated or deleted.

    Advanced editing of calculation models

Suggested by Julien Beaumont New  0 Comments

It would be helpfull to be able to edit calculation model by enabling insert of a step in an existing calculation model. Example, adding a condition to an existing scenario require today to delete all steps post-condition.

    Benefits:

    • Avoid losing configuration when adding a step (and potential errors)
    • Avoid the workaround : create another calculation model and switch the calculation profile. This workaround induce emissions to be linked to the old calculation model/the new one

Identify activity records that do not have a generated an emissions record.

Suggested by Erik Windell New  0 Comments

The way we are importing data, we expect every record to generate an emissions record. One of the queries that was being worked on was to enable us to identify any activity records that did not have a corresponding emissions record. We would then use this data to both verify that the record is accurate and if we have an appropriate calculation profile to generate the emissions record.

Add support for Arabic language in Sustainability Manager

Suggested by Ramon Bosch New  0 Comments

Arabic is the official language in 22 countries, with 300M speakers worldwide. Lack of support creates friction in tenders, especially in state owned enterprises - which is common in sectors such as energy, telco and banking.

    Product Carbon Footprint

Suggested by Femi Osinubi New  0 Comments

Ability to calculate carbon footprint each products, e.g., in manufacturing, being able to calculate from a garment to an entire machine. This would enable other stakeholders, such as product designers, to optimize for environmental impact in sourcing and design.

    Email notifications for data imports

Suggested by Erik Windell New  1 Comments

It would be great to get email alerts when a data import completes. It should be configurable to notify on success, failure, or both. Another option would be to include any error codes and files.. Ability to specify more than one email recipient would be great.

This would be an optional selection.

Use case: We have set our data imports to run on a schedule and it would help streamline administration if we could receive email notifications when the job completes.

Simplify Bulk Delete in Microsoft Sustainability Manager

Suggested by Amber Montgomery New  0 Comments

Currently, deleting incorrectly entered records from Carbon Activities or Emissions requires tedious manual deletion, either page by page or through complex queries in Power Platform.

To make things easier, we propose implementing a user-friendly bulk delete feature with just a simple click of a button. Before proceeding with deletion, a confirmation message, such as "Are you sure you want to delete?" will pop up, ensuring you have a safety net to avoid accidental deletions. Additionally, we'll incorporate a fail-safe by automatically saving previous versions of the data, enabling easy reversion if needed. This enhancement will streamline your data clean-up process and save you time and effort, without the need for technical expertise.

Scope 2: market / location based

Suggested by Caroline Kolmodin Palm New  0 Comments

Currently, accounting method market / location based is asked for in all scope 2 categories. It should only be used / mandatory for purchased electricity.

    • In the Carbon emissions data template, "Is market based?" should only be asked for in purchased electricity.
    • In Emissions insight, when switching between location and market based method, scope 2 should only be impacted for purchased electricity. Other scope 2 categories should be unaffected (just like scope 1 is unaffected).

Furthermore, the box for "market based" in the calculation models should only appear in Scope 2: Purchased electricity. The same goes for All emissions, I dont understand why all other scope categories get "market based: no". This table should be left blank and only be used for purchased electricity.

Mandatory fields in Scope 2: Purchased electricity

Suggested by Caroline Kolmodin Palm New  0 Comments

Facility should not be a mandatory field in purchased electricity. This is non applicable for electric company vehicles, these emissions are not connected to a certain facility but are to be reported in scope 2. I'm also sceptic to why Energy provider name needs to be mandatory. I understand that some activity type is needed to be able to use factor mappings and connect emission factors to reference data. For the vehicles, perhaps "region" or something similar would be more suitable than facility?
