Existing Office Groups can be searched only based on email address.
From a CRM perspective, the search looks only for match to email addresses, from what I can tell. The query is only on email.
CRM doesn’t even allow you to create a custom display name. It checks only for uniqueness, and email address is possibly the Primary key.
