If there is a person who needs to approve/review a request and this person delegates the item to another user and this another user rejects the request, they do not receive the item back when the originator resubmit the request. Instead, the workflow is assigned back to the original person who delegated the item not the person it was delegated to.

Since the item always goes back to the user who rejected the work item, it would be nice if this was the case if item was delegated as well.
