Adding task in subgrid not populating regading field when you click new "+" button

Here is the steps to reproduce this error

1. In account entity add subgrid by choosing task as entity (related)
2. Open any existing account record and in the task subgrid click "+" new button
3. It will not populate regarding field value by default.

After opening account record , in nav bar click on activities and create new task it will populate regarding field by default.
I was expecting same behavior in subgrid as welll. Thats how it works for most of the entities other than activity entities.
