On print management settings to send commercial documents via email, system only gives an option to specify "Subject". System should allow users to specify generic body for the email. Ideally, this should be linked to email templates to specify dynamics variables in the body.

Is there any update on this?
We noticed this has been 'under review' for quite some time.

This functionality should have been added long ago and included in the AX 2012 product. The fact that Microsoft Dynamics 365 does not allow editing the body of an email by default/standard is remarkable.

Please add the ability to link a template to allow dynamic Subject and body of email on Print management email settings. Can not understand how it can not be there.

note there is a duplicate request here, also with some votes - so please consider them together!

I get asked to modify print management to do this quite a bit. I think rather than adding body to print management, it would be better to allow a user to associate an email template with it

Hi all,
You can check out our D365FO Add-On called Docentric which is completely free of charge and "fixes" everything you listed here as a problem.
For example, you can edit Email body with an HTML editor and placeholders, set up dynamic Email subject and output filename, save reports in batch to Azure, SharePoint or Attachments, preview reports with a much better viewer, etc. Works for all reports including the Print Management reports such as Customer Invoice or Purchase Order.
This is Free Edition of our product and we are excited to contribute to the community this way! I would also like to say that we are constantly improving it. For example, we've recently launched a new feature - Improved Email Templates.
Kind regards,Ana from Docentric
