With the recent announcement of some O365 license plans being supported for Business central read only access, I would like to suggest that a useful scenario would also be access to external parties (from different domains than the tenant) through shared teams channels.

Access Business Central with your Microsoft 365 license | Microsoft Learn

This would act as a limited read only portal for customers where this makes sense to a specific business.

Obviously for more laborious interaction this solution would not fit in Teams, but it would work well for customers that want to see the progress of their orders in the system, further promoting the Business Central system to external companies as well.
