It is not intuitive for a prospective customer starting a trial to turn on manufacturing or add the demo data. Further more, the configuration package for manufacturing demo data updates several number series to a prior number which interferes with some postings. As a reseller, I can mitigate all of this, but only if the prospective customer contacts me. For someone trying BC out on their own, I don't think they would be successful.
