- Ability to set a minimum margin at a customer and item level (as well as attribute driven)


The system should be configurable in that it should:

- Error > Pricing cannot be applied to the order, order cannot be completed until the issues are resolved

- Warning > Pricing can still be applied to the order and order can complete, user is notified and the event is logged

- Requires approval > Pricing will only be applied after pricing approval (this would go through workflow)

We appreciate you taking the time to create this input. While we do not have any plans at present to provide the capability requested, we will continue to monitor how much in demand such a capability is.

Great idea, would it be worth considering extending to Sales agreements too, so that client manager/sales reps who are negotiating agreement prices with customers, don't give them a price that would breach the rules that applied to a sales order or quote. Once on an agreement you'd have a legal obligation to honour the price, but creating the order from the agreement could lead to the order being rejected.

This functionality would greatly benefit our company, especially if there was the ability to specify this for customer and item relations at the Table, Group, and All levels. Would also need to be considered for sales quotations in addition to sales orders.
