Ability to extend the tell me (search) screen

I would like the ability to extend the search (tell me) screen.
Features to add:
- recent searches
- search for customers / vendor/ items / order number... etc. Any model stored in BC

Thank you for your feedback. We are not considering the suggestion at this time due to the following reason:

The scenarios you mention are certainly attractive, but should be baked into the platform to reduce overall complexity of the programming model as well as allow for performance optimization, usability, and accessibility compliance.
This means we will not make the Tell Me search box and results experience open to direct extensibility by partners. The Tell Me search box and results window will remain part of the outer chrome of the client and platform.
What we will consider, however, is allowing metadata from extensions and end-user usage and preferences to drive some of these future experiences that you mentioned. 

For example, here is one such idea that aligns better with the above:
