Problem:
We are using email-templates and knowledge article. The user have to insert the email-template and then insert one or more knowledge article. These are a lot of unnecessary clicks.
Idea:
Can you please check if it is possible to implement the feature of automatically inserting a default email template while creating an email, without having to press "Insert Template".
We want to click "New E-Mail" and the template is already used, and we can just type or insert knowledge article.
While creating an email, the default email template should insert automatically using the first or a random contact/account from the "to" field.
Maybe there are other ways to solve the problem, f.e. automatically insert a default email-template while insert knowledge article (checkbox insert default emailtemplate in the dialoge "inserting knowledge article" .
Comments
Just had a client ask about this functionality. It would make sense if there is a default template in some way. For our use case, users want to have a default template for whenever they send an email to a user related to a case. For example: Dear x, (email body)Link to record in PortalSignature

Hi Angela,
Thank you for your feedback and idea and is valid. Currently this is not in our roadmap; however, we are tracking it and if we get more feedback and votes, we may consider it in the future.
