This was an option in previous versions but removed in PU29 - now when you open one menu, the prior one is automatically collapsed so you can only view one menu at a time.
In my user support role, I always had the Favourites and Modules menus open and now need to increase the number of clicks required to navigate the various menus.
Alternatively, can you add the option to pin a menu?

Please disregard. I found that the above behaviour only happens if you first click on one of the new quick-access icons within the navigation pane (now separate icons for Home, Favourites, Recent, Workspaces, and Modules).
However, if you refresh the browser and then click the old hamburger menu icon, you can still expand two menus at one time.
