Hi team,

In OBM, there's an option to Edit Query from the Query view.

This gives us the flexibility to:

  1. Create multiple groups in segments by copying and pasting segment queries from 2 or more segments. In RTJ, we have to rebuild the segment as a group from scratch.
  2. Build a static segment by matching a list of email addresses / membership numbers. In OBM, we do this via "Add by Query" to "bulk load" the list. In RTJ, it is impossible to bulk load a list in the query. We literally can only copy and paste 1 email address at at time, hit Enter, and go with the second address.
  3. Replicate a segment group - we start with 2 or more groups of segment of the same logic, and make tweaks in there. In OBM, we copy and paste a block of query, and connect it with UNION or INTERSECT. In RTJ, we can't replicate a group, and the only option is to rebuild the group.

Please consider having "Edit by Query" enabled. Alternatively, there needs to be 3 features to address the needs / use cases above:

  1. Load segment logic from a pre-built segment / segment template
  2. Load a list of email addresses in the segment logic build
  3. Replicate segment group

Thanks!

In OBM, I use the "Query View" in almost every static segment I make. A lot of our target lists come from excel files, so I build out the query in excel & paste it into the query view. This means, the segment is not something I can easily query with a couple of CRM filters. Not having this functionality (or anything close as far as I can tell), has been quite frustrating.
