When we want to change the machine center /work center of a production routing line, there is no unit of measure field available for adding. The system is assuming it to be the same as work center/machine center. This is messing up the schedule.

My work center and machine center have unit of measure in Hours, because i want to see the capacity in Hours.

My runtime per pc is fraction of a second, so i specify it in seconds

I have three machine centers in one work center,

In the routing line, I specify only one of the machines which gets all the load, i monitor the load on work center level.

In the production order routing , I change machine center code to distribute the load to other machines depending on the item being produced and suitability of the machine.

The problem is that, in the production order routing line, the capacity unity of measure field is not available, The system is assuming it to the the same as the work center / machine center which is in hours.

so the runtime capacity mentioned in seconds is taken as in hours. Because of this the schedule is messed up

In the production order routing line, units of measure for required capacity quantity should be available for adding through personalization
