Currently, some card pages (e.g. Item Card) contain Attachments/Documents FactBox, where user can attach files/documents to a certain record. But, on the list view this specific FactBox is missing, and therefore the number of attachments/documents are not calculated to the Attachments -FactBox pane. Only visible FactBoxes (e.g. Links / Notes) are calculated.

Thus, user cannot know if any documents are attached to a record, unless the card page itself is opened. The idea of FactBoxes is to reduce times you have to open card pages in the first place.

Thank you for your feedback. We released this feature as part of the functionality in Access attachments on additional list pages in January update of Release Wave 2 2022.

This would literally take MS 15 minutes to add and could be rolled out with any update as it is a non-breaking change.
This is obviously a mistake as the links factbox is there, they just missed the documents factbox.
This would save users hours.

I've just experienced this when posting a Sales Invoice with an attachment, when you look at the Posted Sales Invoice list there is an Attachments box there but it shows 0 Attachements. When you open the Posted Sales Invoice card you can use the actions to view the attachments and they are visible. Why is there a discrepancy on the list?
