Inspections are really great. They make designing and filling out test reports a lot easier. The PDF export of responses as pdf is a good possibility to provide a report to the customer.
To use this meaningfully, the form would have to be pre-filled with some dynamic data from the work order incident. E.G. Service-account, customerasset, date of fulfillment..

Thanks for the feedback, we would like to understand which work order fields you would like to add to the Inspection PDF. Furthermore, we would encourage you to look at custom pdf reports that can be triggered from the mobile app: Field Service technician service reporting | Microsoft Docs

Ideally, you should be able to place any field from the WO onto the Inspection. Ideally also from the related lookup entity. You should also have a control for current date.

WO Number

Service Account (+ Account fields such as Address)

Primary Asset (+Product, Serial Number)

Primary Incident Type

A great idea! You could also use flow to generate and send the report automatically. Read this article on how to benefit from the inspection results: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/how-benefit-from-inspection-results-dynamics-365-field-timothy-bohte/?published=t

A definite improvement would be to have the ability to add a Company Logo to the downloaded version to send to the customer, also the ability to not include all questions / responses as some may be for internal use only and not of interest to the customer so a tick box to exclude those.

Yes, it would also be very useful to export Inspection data in other formats such as xml. Often inspection data is used for input into other applications for analysis and this would be helpful

This is an absolutley good idea. In order to distribute the inspection export to customers it should also be possible to add some defautl layout options like the company logo.
