Issue : Post synchronization of the contacts from D365 to Exchange online using SSS , once the contact is deleted and restored in OWA , the changes made to the same contact in D365 will not be reflected in OWA.

And the workaround is to recreate the subscription in order to resynch deleted items - which you can do with the Outlook client.

Background : If the contact is restored in OWA before the SSS sync poll, this will not reproduce. Once the item is deleted and a sync occurs that item will be marked as deleted in the ExchangeSyncIdMappingBase table and therefore not sync back. You would have to recreate the subscription in order to resynch deleted items - which you can do with the Outlook client.

Business Impact : We need this to be fixed at the earliest as recreating the filters again and again is not a good solution for us , this issue should be fixed at the product level.

There should be a (end-)user friendly way to achieve a re-sync.
