The reset would be useful also on a year basis for certain leave types.

This involves e.g. "sick leave" implementations for which there are no fix days allocated to a person (Accrual amount and the Maximum carry-forward are both 0), each sick leave request appearing as a negative value. Thus, if the employee took 10 days of sick leave within the first year, the balance is -10 at the year end, which is carried forward in next year (current system behavior). Thus, to start with a clean balance each year, we are forced to adjust the balance manually.

Of course, this adjustment could be implemented via Power Automate flow, though a logic change of Leave and absence in D365 can impact the logic. It would be helpful to have this functionality directly in D365.
