Thank you for your feedback. We are considering adding it to our longer term roadmap.

In the meantime, there's a hidden gem of a workaround that will save you a few clicks 😊 When the first dialog appears (before the actual Windows file picker), you can drag and drop your file onto the "Choose..." button. This workaround is possible on all modern browsers.

Best regards,

Hello All,This is a must feature for efficiently adopt dynamics capabilities in this AI digital world. It will save lot of time adding attachments with just drag & drop instaed of manually saving the files or documents in desktop/share point & then attching in Opportunities/cases/leads. In case it takes 1 min to complete this activity then just imagine the saving you can have across all Markets. My request is to mark this request ar top Prioirty to enable Sales & Operations work efficiently & Save Productive time.

Agreed, this is required.Users are asking why they can do this on SharePoint and not on D365, especially important when expense users need to load multiple tickets. Its difficult to defend an integrated MS solution that does not behave the same as many applications.

We need this too!

When this is designed please design it to allow for multiple attachments to be sent over at once. I tested the workaround and it only works for a single file.

In addition to this it would be great to be able to drag and drop from Business Central as well, so it works both ways!

It is outrageous that an idea with so many votes is not implemented faster. And developing such a drag & drop function shouldn't be too difficult and time-consuming for Microsoft.

It doesn't make sense that every BC partner has to develop their own drag & drop function and Microsoft will come up with an official solution at some point and we then have to revoke our drag & drop functions.

This is the idea with the 3rd most votes (across all areas). According to which criteria does Microsoft prioritize, if not according to the number of votes? Sorry, but I'm losing patience on this subject.

Any updates on the status of this one? The workaround is useful, but it still requires some extra clicks for our users that will slow down data entry.

Almost 3 years to the day and yet nothing ? This is most peculiar.
