Scenario: Technicians in the field need to flexible and adapt to the customer. For a dispatcher or the engine (RSO) it is not that easy to plan around the fix breaks, because splitting a work order is not that nice or possible (for RSO).
Another point is that you can plan the days more efficiant if the breaks are flexible.

Currently it is only possible to plan fix breaks in the work hours, for example from 12 pm to 1 pm.
For example planning a break which lasts 1 hour and must be planned between 11 am and 1 pm.

So I suggest a flexible break for technicians.

PS: In a webinar for Field Service it was told to hand in this idea.

Hi Marvin,

Thank you for submitting this request. Flexible lunch breaks for technicians is something that we added to our product backlog, but we do not have a timeline yet.

Sincerely,

Vinay Nalam,

PM, Microsoft.

Supplement: The break should be able to be postponed within this period (11 am and 1 pm) by the dispatcher or RSO.
