When creating a new item in the production order, the system should be able to generate a label containing the item/serial/batch information for the produced item. This has to be an integrated part of the production process as the serial number needs to be put on the produced part during production.

Definitively a must requirement. We should be able to generate labels in the Production floor execution for in-process material and for finished goods (including serialized items). The feature should allow defining the layout, printer and quantity to print.

A must, yes. In addition to a new custom Mobile menu item, we implemented this as a button on the Job card terminal.
