This comment to just up the idea, I have written here comment in Dec 2018 but deleted for some reasons.
The Dim Correction is so great feature, there is a famous add-on in the market doing the job, but adding the feature to the main functionality would be a great idea.

That would be great functionality! From an end user perspective it would mean that they don't have to go through the process of reversing and re-posting documents/entries just because a dimension value was wrong or forgotten.

I agree! We started off with dimensions without thinking it through 100%, and now end up having to substitute correct dimensions when loading the data into Power BI for Income statement analysis. It would be great to just be able to go to Dynamics and edit these dimensions directly, without having to reverse and re-post these entries.
