Most SSRS Reports have parameters like filters, grouping and such. In the "good old days" of AX 2012, when you printed (on-screen) an SSRS Report, you had the section/fast tab "Options" above the report. You could open the tab, easily see what your parameters were, change them and refresh the report.
This functionality is missing in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations. You need to go back to the navigation pane, click on the menu item and review the settings, at which point the report is no longer visible.
Please enable viewing report parameters and the output simultaneously on screen. This was a great feature for experimenting with report parameters to find out the right settings for the information needs of a business user.

In AX2009, a user can select any filtering criteria to run a report, you can choose to print the filtering criteria by selecting "Print range" when you run the report. A user can also select the option to add Grand total and select any field to group by for a subtotal when you run the report. These nice features are no longer available in D365F&O but would be very helpful for the users.
