Currently stages of Business Process Flow changes by out of box Next Stage and Previous Stage buttons. These buttons are accessible to everyone. Most of the times we have situations where particular stage of Business Process Flow should be change by person having specific security role. Please provide Out-of-box functionality for the role based access of Next Stage and Previous Stage buttons in every stage of Business Process Flow.

maybe create several BPF.BPF access via security roles. part of BPF users are allowed to step back maybe set all modification allowed.other BPF-part restrict? not sure if this could help?similar to my idea ?

I agree, anything that would reduce my need to learn something new i.e. JavaScript and enable me to build more functionality OOB would sell better to my co-worker's.
