While enrolling a leave plan on employee, it does not allow to enroll future plan if existing plan is not expired first. This is creating problem during employee transitions; when an employee moves from fixed contract to open ended employment the leave plan changes (leave type remains the same: Annual leave). The system currently restricts to enter future dated leave plan and customers are complaining a lot that they have to remember when the new enrollment date has to start to enroll the workers in a new plan, and they are unable to finish the employee transition checklist as well.

Currently this means our administration team have to touch a process twice therefore making the process cumbersome and at risk of error due to them processing other tasks at the same time. There seems to be a trend with the leave and absence module regarding recognition of regular changes to employment for colleagues and the impact on leave and absence
