To have the ability to set the holiday year to run for a set period for example from 01/01 - 31/12 but being able to increase employees leave balances based on their anniversary date/custom date. This allows employees to all be on the same holiday year, but get their increase of leave on the actual date of their anniversary. With the current set up in Talent you can only set the accruals and holiday year to be the same date.

ideally it should be possible as well to specify an earning period and a consumption period, the consumption period must be allowed to overlap with the earning period. This to accommodate the Danish holiday act.
