Pages metadata doesn't refresh entirely their html DOM (for subgroups visibility properties if you have a variable for visibility). So main groups visibility still works with CurrPage.Update, but subgroup of main group won't render if the used variable for visibility started with False on Page load and is now True, when you call CurrPage.Update
