It would be very beneficial to have a notification when BC is updated with a link to a web page detailing the update. Hot fixes are being pushed in without any notification and if they fix or break things knowledge of a change would be a great help in troubleshooting issues.

PS I've tried to submit this at least once a week for the past 3 weeks and it seems to submit but then is nowhere to be found.

This is badly needed. Smaller minor updates can also contain large impacts on businesses and cause frustrations. It's not right, that partners and customers, do not have a fair chance to postpone any type of upgrades to a more convenient time.

I absolutely agree with @Alek Culbreath.
It's not enough that there is a hint in the Partner Center that an update is available and that it will be installed sometime after a special date.
With this information the customer can't really plan the downtime of the system (also if he is able to set the update window) because he don't know on with date the update will be done.

I would like to see an eMail notification (also for minor updates) to the defined notification recipients
- as soon as a new update is available
- 24 hours before the update will take place
- 1 or half an hour before the update will take place (as a reminder).
Notifications should be sent both for the update of the production environment and any sandbox environment.

To @Ivan Koletic​'s comment; I don't think the new admin center is addressing this request at all.

Requirements are that we need notification prior to updates including hot fixes being installed.

Further we need the ability to schedule updates and hot fixes to install to Sandbox environment first, then schedule to production environment later after testing in Sandbox is validated.

We have found BC has crashed after updates and only gets addressed after creating a support case. Having visability of upcoming updates, timings and status needed
