On the Business Central home screen, there are so-called tiles. These tiles act as shortcuts to lists with predefined filters.

Users can assign names to these tiles, and they display a number indicating the current results matching the applied filters.

Currently, creating such tiles requires development work from our software partner. We propose an improvement that allows users to create and customize these tiles themselves using a no-code/low-code approach. A modular tile builder would empower users to set up filtered list tiles without requiring extensive programming knowledge.

This enhancement would increase flexibility, reduce dependency on external developers, and enable users to tailor their Business Central experience more efficiently.

This is honestly something, that should've been in BC from the start. Why even have this feature, if for every tile i have to go through the developer providing BC to our firm. It's a simple setting you should be able to set in a matter of seconds. Choose a filter and choose if it's "sum" or "count". i hope it gets added soon, my previous employer had a custom CRM-based system and it had this feature.
