VAT Statement Report and VAT Statement Preview have an option for showing the amounts in additional reporting currency, why this option is not available in VAT Returns?

Customer has local currency of USD and additional reporting currency of GBP. Despite being able to view the reports in GBP using the additional reporting currency option, they cannot submit their VAT statements using the MTD functionality with these GBP values. The MTD extension uses the local currency of USD which is incorrect as VAT must be submitted to HMRC in GBP.
