Partner developed a page in their app with a field that connects to a page that is developed by them for the app as well. When using the drop down to search for relevant post they want specific fields in their page to be highlighted since it is the relevant field for the user. But it seems like the fields in the drop down are decided by the fields in the table used for the page, and that they cannot choose the order of the fields in the drop down.
They want to be able to choose the order of the fields in the dropdown.
Dropdown is showing from the table.
If they add a page, should we not be able to choose the order for the fields in the drop down? The fields should be relevant for the user and in an apppage the appfields are most likely the most relevant, yes? At the moment the only choose for a developer is Addlast.

Partner would like to know is there any plans to open up for more freedom here.

Thank you for your suggestion. There is already an idea tracking additional capabilities with field groups/drop-down, so most of this entry is redundant with that

Thus we will reject this idea in its current form, and if not already done, you should cast your vote on above linked idea.

However, this entry also seems to include request to have page specific customization of drop-down (i.e., override one on source table). If that is correct, then please add an additional idea covering just that aspect.

Sincerely,

It would be good if we can add fields and order them for the DropDown fieldgrop on tables. Even better if the user could also manage the available fields.
