As an end of day process a Cashier will perform a Safe Drop for the Checks collected on their shift throughout the day. There is a chance the cashier will make a mistake and accidently over declare the value of Checks on the Safe Drop. To correct this a safe removal operation is required. However, when completing a Safe Removal from the Manage Safe screen the payment method defaults to Cash with no option to change to checks or any other payment method.
